Strictly Business Theatre is an Edmonton based theatre company producing and performing both hilariously entertaining and heartwarming cabarets.
Cabaret, to us, is essentially a variety show comprised of song and dance, tied together with stories and jokes. We love to share our cabarets in a casual and fun
environment. The audience is always encouraged to have a few drinks, because let's face it-
the more you drink, the better we sound!
Kelsey Visscher
Kelsey Visscher is an Edmonton based singer/ actor, and a graduate of Grant MacEwan's Theatre Arts Program. She has spent the last five years continuing her training in musical theatre performance both here in Edmonton, and in New York City. Kelsey is very proud to have recently completed her level 8 RCM theory exam and is excited to continue learning more about music.
KAYLA NICKEL
Edmonton born Kayla Nickel is a triple threat - actor, singer, and musician. She is a graduate of MacEwan University’s Theatre Arts program, winner of the National Music Festival of Canada in Musical Theatre and went on to study voice and acting in New York. As a musician, Kayla is an accomplished cellist with her Gr. 8 RCM certificate in performance, and in recent years has learned bass and ukulele.
MARLIS NICKEL
Marlis has her ARCT in piano performance, and has been teaching for 35 years. She is also an accomplished accompanist. She has been creating shows with Kayla and Kelsey since 2016 and looks forward to what's coming next!
